Terms & Conditions
The support is subject to the recipient’s continued compliance with program rules, including timely submission of required documents and adherence to course guidelines.
2. Misconduct or False Information
The financial assistance may be suspended or revoked in cases of misconduct, submission of false or misleading information, academic underperformance, prolonged absence, lack of communication, or violation of these terms.
3. Authority on Suspension or Termination
The final authority to decide on the suspension or termination of financial assistance rests with Lightroad.
4. Change of Circumstances
Any changes in training course or institution during the support period must be promptly reported to Lightroad.
5. Course Withdrawal or Dropout
If a recipient withdraws from the course or becomes ineligible midway, any unused financial assistance may be withdrawn, and the recipient may be required to refund the disbursed amount proportionally.
6. Post-Course Follow-Up
Recipients agree to share employment or further education details (e.g., offer letter, employer name, salary) after course completion to help Lightroad track outcomes.
7. Audit & Evaluation Cooperation
Recipients shall cooperate in reasonable evaluation or audit processes conducted by Lightroad or its designated partners for program assessment purposes.
8. Erroneous or Excess Disbursements
Any unintentional or excess disbursement of financial assistance must be reported to Lightroad immediately. Recipients are expected to return such amounts promptly. These may also be adjusted against future disbursements.
9. Disbursement to Ineligible Applicants
In cases where funds are disbursed erroneously to a non-selected or ineligible applicant, the individual is obligated to return the financial assistance in full.
10. Failure to Return Funds
If an applicant fails to return the excess or erroneously disbursed amount, they will be permanently blacklisted and deemed ineligible for all current and future financing programs hosted on the Lightroad platform.
11. Communication Obligations
Failure to maintain communication or respond to follow-ups may lead to disqualification during the selection process, discontinuation of financial assistance, or ineligibility for renewal.
12. Monitoring & Documentation
From time to time, recipients may be asked to submit academic transcripts, feedback forms, surveys, or acknowledgements to support monitoring and impact evaluation.
13. Data Protection & Confidentiality
Lightroad follows strict data protection and confidentiality protocols. No personal data will be shared with third parties without the applicant’s consent, except when required by law or for legitimate operational purposes (e.g., verification, disbursement, or audit).
14. Program Continuity
Lightroad reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue the program at any time in case the external support backing the program is paused or discontinued.
15. Right to Modify Terms
Lightroad reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updates will apply to all current and future applicants and financial assistance recipients.
